BVG ventured out into Palm Desert heat this last weekend for the 2nd Annual Grant Fuhr Celebrity Invitational.
Hosted at the Desert Willow Golf Resort and benefiting the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, the tournament invites amateur players to participate in a round of golf alongside celebrity players all while enjoying the beautiful views.
Including a pairings party the night before at the beautiful Hotel Paseo back patio, the tournament also featured a silent and live auction also benefiting Hazelden Betty Ford in an effort to curb the opioid and addiction crisis.
The next day we set up on the first hole and enjoyed visits from each team as they played through the course. We had a fantastic time trying on sunglasses with players and celebrities or just visiting in the shade.
We here at BVG are honored to have participated in such a fun and worthwhile event to support the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, to whom we also donate some of our proceeds.
